Where Do You Can Support
First of all, besides all technical knowledge, you should have passion for ASIC design and development.
We work with the standard tool chains from Cadence and Synopsys and you should have experience in creating valuable results with these tools in your specific domain. Following the Siliconally Design Methodology and Functional Safety Concepts are included in the working and improvement cycles.
Know how in requirements engineering, systems engineering, functional/technical safety, scripting with TCL and Python and some management capabilities are a plus.
Additionally, you should be able to prove your know how in your domain by examples from your studies or professional job experience.
Backend Engineering at Siliconally GmbH
Your Responsibilities may involve:
- Hierarchical floorplanning or top-down or full chip floorplan (including IO), partition, Time budgeting etc
- Power planning
- Placement & Optimization (Macro placement, IO placement, Synchronizer, level shifters, isolation cells) etc
- Clock tree synthesis
- Routing
- Post-Route Optimization (xtalk/SI etc)
- Full chip assembly from P&R abstracts
Your Profile:
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology or similar
- Experience in Physical Implementation in leading edge CMOS technologies
- Basic knowledge of state-of-the-art synthesis, P&R and verification tools from Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys and Mentor
- Self-driven and hands-on way of working
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Team-player
